Schedule

Since our wedding is within the summer beach season, we recommend booking your travel plans as early as possible.

We have a room block available at our venue that can be booked by calling the Reservation Call Center: 609-729-6600. Please use our name: McDonough-McGrainer Wedding (Group number: 206879). The discounted room block rate is applicable Thursday night through Saturday night with no minimum requirement. We also have rooms available on a higher floor with a better view for an increased cost (still discounted). We will be spending the weekend here so feel free to make it a weekend down the shore and join us at the beach!

Other Options

There are plenty of hotels and other rentals in the area you can consider. Wildwood's island is only 5 miles long and Cape May is only 10 minutes away. If you are searching on airbnb, vrbo, etc, definitely take note of required minimums for stays - given that it is still peak beach season, many rentals have a one week minimum.

Our favorite place! Enjoy Wildwood's spacious beaches with soft sand, the beautiful ocean, and salty air. Make it a weekend down the shore and join us for some celebratory days in the sun. Early birds, enjoy the most beautiful sunrises you've ever seen.

The Beach

Have a blast on the famous boardwalk with rides, games and classic treats. Complete the boardwalk pizza challenge by grabbing one slice from Mack's and one from Sam's to choose your favorite (hint: the right answer is Sam's). There are 3 different waterparks to enjoy during the day. Head up in the morning for a bike ride (there are many places to rent bikes) or take a stroll to the Wildwood sign for a picture.

Morey's Piers & Beachfront Water Parks

One of Kelsey's favorite childhood spots! Here you'll find the best homemade ice-cream you've ever had, an arcade, and mini golf. Pro tip: put your name in for a table for ice-cream, then play arcade games while you wait.

Duffer's Restaurant & Old Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor

Take a walk along the park or bring your kayaks and paddle boards for some time on the water. It's the best place for bay access, and truly the most spectacular sunsets.

Sunset Lake Park

Gorgeous Cape May is only a 10-15 minute drive away. Shop at the Washington Street Mall, collect Cape May diamonds at Cape May Point, walk along the beach, visit Congress Hall, or enjoy a meal and cocktails at any of the excellent places Cape May has to offer.
